| 3.4 Saloon | 3442 |  This and the last are sometimes
called the Mark I but this name was not applied at the time of
manufacture. Elliptical front quarter lights. Grilles on front. Wing
mirrors on mudguards. Narrower rear track than Mark II. Mounted
spots on front to some. Bar over front bumper on
some. |

| S Type | 3442 |  Larger than Mark II but very
similar in shape. Rear quarters in single piece pressing. Rear wheels semi
recessed. Front corner indicators. Independent rear
suspension.
A restorer in Taranaki (New Zealand) has discovered that their project car was the first production S type ever made. LINK |

bit, but still a smaller saloon, this was the S type with scaled down Mark
